SUPERVISOR (Front of House)
•Supervise all front of the house activities
•All cash and charge handling transactions and reconciliations from customers for all goods sold in the store
•Working knowledge, including programming, of the POS system
•Brewing coffee and replenishing coffee supplies throughout the day
•Wrapping and boxing pastries and breads for customers
•Assembling sandwiches and paninis
•Properly storing items at the end of the day
•Updating the daily menu board
•Answer incoming calls with proper greeting and telephone etiquette.
•Assists in properly storing and organizing incoming inventory
•Replenishing supplies of food and non-food items as needed
•Performs cleaning maintenance of the display cases and counters
•Wiping down tables and chairs at the end of the shift
•Front of the house floor maintenance including vacuuming, sweeping and mopping
•Re-stocking of shop literature as needed
•Trash removal from front of the house area when required
•Ability to work in a team-driven environment, take direction, offer direction and assist with problem solving
•Establish and maintain a positive, professional relationship with co-workers and customers through effective, accurate, timely, and reliable communication and action

BASIC FUNCTION: Work & oversee all guest transactions and reconciliations.
QUALIFICATIONS: EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE, TRAINING, & WORK EXPERIENCE
•High school diploma or equivalent preferred
•6 months of supervising in a food & beverage establishment
•Flexibility in shift times required
Excellent human relations skills are necessary
•Good organizational skills
•Computer literate
•Must be able to communicate in English
•Ability and passion to learn
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Other duties as assigned.
•Working knowledge, including programming, of the POS system
•Daily cash reconciliation at the end of the night
•Working knowledge of the shop’s sound system
•Brewing coffee and replenishing coffee supplies throughout the day
•Wrapping and boxing pastries and breads for customers
•Properly storing items at the end of the day

•Maintains safety and sanitary standards in production areas according to the State’s Health Code and internal standards
•Clean windows as needed
•Recommends changes in working conditions and use of equipment to increase efficiency and safety of the operations
•May be required to assume the role of Supervisor when the owner’s are not present
•Ability to work in a team-driven environment, take direction, offer direction and assist with problem solving
•Establish and maintain a positive, professional relationship with co- workers and customers through effective, accurate, timely, and reliable communication and action
ENVIRONMENT:
The environment for this position includes the need to be mobile throughout shop, to include standing and walking for more than 8 hours a day. Some outside work required while cleaning and removing trash.
